I find it hard to turn down a good reference book, so when this showed up at my door, I was anxious to sit down and pour through it:
I was immediately taken with how classy it was -- the cloth cover just screams quality and the pages inside were equally gorgeous.
We have several similar tomes around the house, so even though I'm not yet sure whether the content adds something new to our collection, I love how slim the book is as well as how all of the information is organized.
A helpful timeline follows (which includes extra-biblical world events, to better help orient everything) along with loads of maps, charts, illustrations, and other visual helps.
