It's time for another round of 5 After 5!  In case you missed it, last week's list was 5 of your favorite kitchen gadgets and if you're new to this series, you can read more about it here.

Today I've got my list of 5 to share, as well as next week's topic for you to stew about over the upcoming days.

And this series is now a link party, so be sure to scroll down and join in all the fun with us this week!

List 5 popular travel destinations you've been to

Even though we haven't been able to travel as much since Gv joined us (well, except for our free summer vacations), it is one of our favorite things to do!

We've been to some unique places in this great big world, but today is all about the most popular.  Here are five top destination spots that I've visited:

1.  Walt Disney World

I grew up in Mickey's backyard (seriously, there are nights I fell asleep to the boom of fireworks outside my window), so it wasn't too difficult to visit this top spot, even as a toddler.

And price wasn't much of an issue then, because it was free to get in (well, not completely, but like $2 or something, so practically) and you only had to spend more money if you rode the rides (E ticket, anyone?)

There was a lot a little tyke could do back then, even if ride tickets weren't in the budget (I still remember the bicentennial parade - along with being terrified by the Big Bad Wolf and 3 Little Pigs roaming around the park!)

2. New York City

I can remember heading up I-95 to New England with my parents and praying that we'd get close enough to the Big Apple to catch a glimpse of it.

I'm pretty sure I saw the lights across the water, but then again, I might have "seen them" the same way I saw Rudolph's nose blinking away one Christmas Eve outside my window...

In high school, my parents and I did take an epic trip to the city, and I've driven through a couple of times since.

3.  London

"Look, kids..."

I'd been an Anglophile for a while when I took my first trip overseas, so it was pretty exciting to finally see this amazing city in person.

It remains my favorite city to this day, and I've probably been there more than anywhere else (at least that's what my passport says!)

4.  Rome

Although I've been here a couple of times, I'm anxious to return with G and see all of his old haunts from the five years he lived here for grad school.

It's an amazing spot that I could return to again and again!

5.  Paris

I've been here a few times as well, but my absolute favorite visit was just before Gv was born (despite this meal.)

We rang in the New Year in front of the very structure pictured above, followed by a three-hour trek across the city due to mob issues and metro closures.

Ah, the memories.

Heading out to a popular travel destination that's just a drive away?  Print out this awesome Road Trip in a Box to make the miles sweeter!

For next week:

List 5 of your favorite snack foods

What do you reach for, when you get the munchies?  Something salty?  Sweet?  Crunchy?  Chewy?

Or do you just down another can of Coke?  (Yes, it's "Coke."  Not "soda."  Not "soft drink."  And never, ever "pop."  At least not here in The South!)

Tune in next week to see what my snack food weaknesses are - I can't wait to read about yours!

And now, here's this week's link party!  Two other fabulous bloggers have teamed up with me to create lists of five each week and we hope that you'll join us, too!

That's right, every post will be read, pinned and tweeted!

Every Saturday, just stop by one of our three blogs to add your own list of five, then pop over and read as many other posts as you're able to each week - treat it like a true party and really mix it up and mingle with our fun little community!

The rules are simple:  just write your own list following the prompt each week (feel free to interpret it loosely - or in a unique way!), follow each of the three hosts on the social media channel of your choice, and then get into the spirit of the party by grabbing your favorite beverage or snack and reading the lists of the other party-goers.

Rome is definitely one of my favorite places! New York is great, too. I live near Disney World and I still love it. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Merry Monday.

Ooooh, you live near Disney World? Howdy, neighbor!

Thanks, Marisa! I hope you make it to London some day - it's an amazing city (and how cool that you've been to two others already!) So glad you stopped by to say hello today!
I love Honolulu, Miami, New Orleans, Portland OR, and Bermuda!

Those are great cities! Thanks so much for sharing them and I hope to see you around here again soon!
New York City, a place that is fascinating to visit, although I wouldn't want to live there. Paris - I think everyone wants to experience it at least once.

I don't think I'd want to live in NYC, either, although somehow the idea of living in a big city abroad appeals to me. Have you been to Paris, Michelle, or is it just on your list for some day?
Oooh! So jealous of your travels. I have always wanted to see London & Rome. I did make it to Paris, Disney (many times!) and New york a time for two as well but international travel is not always so easy to do.

No, international travel is not so easy to do (says the gal for whom it is on hold indefinitely :/), but how fun that you have been to Paris! I hope you make it to London and Rome someday, too, Joanne!
It must have been so cool to go to Disney as a kid. I mean, I still love it, but it's extra magical as a kiddo. :) I think my fave place was Turkey, I've been twice and I'd love to go again. There's so much history to see. #FridayFrivolity

Yes, Disney is definitely something special as a kid! It's out of our budget now, but we're hoping to still be able to share it with Gv before she gets too old. G has been to Turkey several times and I'm still hoping to make it there - still a little disappointed that we didn't make the trip a few years ago, but know it was the right choice for the time. Thanks for sharing, Jess!
