At last week's party, we shared some of our favorite children's television shows (and you became aware of exactly how ancient I am!)

This week, we're all experiencing a case of wanderlust as summer approaches - and as a result, we're talking travel.

My list highlights some of the destinations at the top of my "where to go next" list.  That list, by the way, is about a mile long, but here are just a few spots:

Turkey - because we were headed here a few years ago, but then I ended up getting pregnant and we realized my ever-sick taste buds wouldn't be able to enjoy the amazing food the way I'd want to!

(Of course, I ended up encountering one of the most pungent dishes I'd ever had on the trip we took instead.)

Switzerland - because this was another location we'd planned to visit on that re-arranged trip during my pregnancy.

And even though we "visited" this country recently on one of our Passport to Fun trips, I want actually set my feet on its soil soon.

Iceland - because, at the moment, it has the cheapest flights.

Plus, it's a little offbeat and unusual - just like me.

Scandinavia - All of it.  Because I had a skating student travel there one summer and her amazing vacation photos still haunt my dreams.

Rome - I think I could visit Italy every year and still never tire of it, but I want to return to this incredible city with G.

Although we actually have spent a small amount of time in Italy together, I really want to experience La Passeggiata with him on the same streets he roamed while in grad school and re-live some of his stories in person.

Have a travel bucket list that involves places closer to home?  Print out this awesome Road Trip in a Box to make the miles sweeter!
