Friday Frivolity - Spring Cleaning Edition

It's time for this week's edition of Friday Frivolity - the blog party for all things fun, funny, hopeful & happy!

At last week's party, we were rocking out to some great 80s tunes.

This week, we're talking about cleaning - and since avoiding those tasks pretty much tops my spring cleaning list (I'll organize forever, but clean? Nah.), I'm sharing top cleaning avoidance tactics:

Tactic #1

Spending an hour Googling homemade cleaner recipes instead of just scrubbing out the toilet with the same bleach you always use.

Tactic #2

Becoming obsessively focused on a task that absolutely never has to get done, like pouring all sorts of pantry ingredients or spices into smaller containers, just to "save space."

Tactic #3

Announcing that you need some "cleaning tunes" and then proceeding to spend the rest of the day creating the ideal motivational playlist.

Tactic #4

Deciding it's too late in the day to start cleaning now, so you'll just do it tomorrow.

Tactic #5

Realizing that you can't do the laundry, despite everyone being out of underwear, because it's Tuesday and "Monday is wash day."

Audrey recently shared 10 Funny Coffee Mugs for February -- even though I don't drink coffee, some of these really cracked me up!
