Gv enjoyed this cute little Christmas book this past winter, so I was excited to get my hands on the Easter version to add to this year's Easter basket:
Each page tells a bit of the Easter story - citing an appropriate Bible verse for each blurb of text.
Your child will begin with Palm Sunday and walk through events like the Last Supper, Jesus' arrest and crucifixion, the empty tomb and then end with telling the world the great news about Jesus being the Savior of the world.
Each open spread also includes eight different items to search for - turning this into an activity book, as well!
Because of its dual nature, I feel this book is a great investment. The sturdy board book pages (with fun, semi-circle turning tabs) and bright, colorful pictures make it the perfect book to grab in time for baby's first Easter.
You'll enjoy reading this story each year with your little one, but when (s)he reaches the preschool stage, you'll appreciate it even more.
It's the perfect book to tote along to church or an appointment because it's quiet, engaging, and doesn't require extra pens or paper!
I definitely recommend this book for anyone with kids aged birth to probably around school age (5-6). It's a great one to grow up with and solidifies the wonderful message we share each spring.
