I mentioned recently that I'd love to own every single Berenstain Bears book one day. I'm sure we're a long way from achieving that goal, but when this arrived, we got five steps closer:

I don't think we'll ever get tired of reading about the antics of Mama, Papa, Brother, Sister, Honey Bear and the whole Bear Country gang in The Berenstain Bears books!

This collection of five stories centers around the blessings of friendship and shares many ideas on how to be a good friend to others.

Like the other Living Lights books, these stories weave together Biblical principles and verses with lessons that are appropriate for anyone.

Each book opens with a related Bible verse.

The Berenstain Bears also have a wide appeal and timelessness. That means this is a book that would be great for lap-listeners as well as for independent readers well into the elementary years.

The fact that it's a collection also means that it's perfect for the bedside bookshelf -- I love books like this that offer a variety of choices when the nightly story time rolls around!

Find a copy of this book here and spend a bit more time introducing these bears to your own little cubs!

I haven't read many Berenstain Bears books but will have to make it a point to read more of them. It sounds like they have a way of teaching children good values.

Well, we've got quite the library full of them here...
My girls loved these books when they were little Lisa and I am glad to see that they are still available

I'm glad they're still available, too! I have several from when I was a kid, but it's fun to be able to get new ones, too!
Another Bernstein bear book. They really are great little books. I love how they teach children a valuable life lesson .

Thanks for the tweet, Tina!
I used to read the Berenstain bears to my kids we had about 20 books. But I bet there must be many more. Lisa do you know how many there are in total?

I have no clue how many there are, Mary! All I know is that they seem never-ending, but I still don't think we could ever get tired of them!
