At last week's party, we attempted to be your best cheerleaders and share a little bit of inspiration and encouragement to help you reach your goals.

It was my turn to choose the theme for this week's little soirĂ©e and since I'd just finished reading the hilarious Yes, Please, which then led us to start watching episodes of Parks & Recreation, I decided an Amy Poehler edition of Friday Frivolity was in order.

Besides cracking everyone up on SNL all those years, she had me holding my sides from laughter with her performance in Blades of Glory, so I was excited to see what kind of silliness I could dig up for this week's link-up.

(Changing the memes to quotes-only at a later point):

To begin with, a few gems from our household's latest binge show:

"Hey, Leslie, it's Leslie, hang in there. Bye."

"I would like to be president some day, so, no. I have not smoked marijuana. I ate a brownie once. At a party in college. It was intense. It was kind of indescribable, actually. I felt like I was floating. Turns out, there wasn't any pot in the brownie. It was just an insanely good brownie."

The duo that changed things for women everywhere:

{tina & amy}

Next, the movie that you know I'd have to own, regardless of whether I thought it was funny or not (I find it hilarious, btw):

{amy & ex-husband in Blades of Glory}

And finally, a reminder one of my favorite SNL skits of all time:

{amy & jimmy in toe-thumb skit}

Now, on to the link-up!
