We love all the fun illustrations and stories in The Beginner's Bible, so we were excited to have the chance to review this:

It's no secret that we love The Beginner's Bible. I've written whole posts about it and mention it in pretty much every Latticed Learning post I've done.

So we were looking forward to this board book full of first prayers:

This 32-page padded board book is a fantastic first prayer book!

The delightful, updated illustrations and sweet, easy-to-read prayers will show your child God's love and how he wants them to live.

The prayers are organized by positive character traits.

This little book helps young children discover that they can talk to God about anything -- from the beauty of creation to their friendships and emotions. Thankfulness, praise and requests for God's help are all included.

Sixteen sweet prayers, written with the child's daily experiences in mind, focus on important character traits such as caring and forgiveness. For each prayer, charming illustrations from this beloved children's Bible highlight a different Bible character or scene that illustrates the truth found in that prayer.

This book is the ideal gift for a new parent or young child and perfect for bedtime or a great way to start the day.

The prayers seem best suited for very young children, but I feel it would be wonderful for new readers, as well -- probably for ages birth through about third grade.

I'm so happy this book closes with this prayer!
