Project Snapshot, March 2021

       Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.

Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memory will join the year's collection for this month:

My Snapshots

What have we been up to this past month? Take a look and see:

So besides still not really doing anything or going anywhere, it seems my camera has decided that it's just done and I'm just not sure it makes sense to invest in a new one.

I've been having problems with it for years and pretty much figured out that it's a lens-connection issue (I've purchased two replacements over the years, because that has been cheaper than a new camera), but as much as I love hauling around my "fancy camera" to take photos, I think I might just give up and rely on the phone...

I just can't justify spending all that money when these silly phones nowadays take photos that are just as good...

Sigh. It took me forever to give up my 35mm and go DSLR, but I just don't know if I can take the phone-camera-only plunge...

Anyway, on to the photos:

My pretty girl, who wanted me to "take a photo of me in this beautiful new dress!"

The cousins came to visit and we enjoyed a much-needed dose of silly fun.

We had the goal for G's spring break to finally tackle some giant home improvement projects, but managed to get out for a hike along the river to start the week off with a little fun family time.

For the second year in a row, Gv has worked on her leprechaun trap contraption virtually with friends, although these particular friends live a zillion states away, so the trap-building would be virtual even if the rest of life wasn't.

Gv has been a piano-playing fool lately, which means I get to enjoy lots of great concerts. She caught me and the dog napping for one of them, though, so it must've been a lullaby. {grin}

And that pretty much wrapped up our month! I wonder what wonderful memories next month will bring?
