We were pretty excited when this STEM-focused sequel showed up on our doorstep:
Gv and I both enjoyed reading through this previous title together in the past and she continues to enjoy going back through it on her own now.
I think she enjoys these books so much because they contain so much bang for the buck. It takes her only a minute to read the day's devotional, yet she gets to learn some quirky, new science fact to impress us with and have a connection with God at the same time.
Just like before, author Louie Giglio infuses the book's pages with mind-blowing, faith-building scientific facts and biblical truths about the wonder of God's creation.
He follows the same structure of covering the topics of animals, space, people and the Earth, filling each page with engaging illustrations and photographs that will captivate your kids.
The 100 devotions include Bible verses, prayers, fun activities and an "Explore the Wonder" section that presents facts about things like:
* why snow is white
* what causes the glow of the mysterious milky seas
* what it means for a planet to go rogue
* why we get hangry and how our thoughts affect our bodies
* and much, much more!
This book is ideal for science-loving, Bible-loving kids who want to go deeper in their faith and be amazed at how wonderful God's creation truly is.
It's intended for kids 6-10 to enjoy, but I think even younger children would like hearing these short devotionals at bedtime or as part of a Morning Time routine (& I'm pretty sure you will, too!)
