I wish this book had arrived earlier in the year - when we were spending our Latticed Learning time learning all about Psalm 23 - but I'm certainly happy to have it for when we cover that portion of the Bible next year!

Written by Sally Lloyd-Jones and illustrated by Jago (The team who brought you The Jesus Storybook Bible), this padded board book is a must-have for everyone's home library.

A board book centered around Psalm 23!

This great title is really everything you want in a board book:

If you're a fan of the illustrations in The Jesus Storybook Bible, then you'll love this book!

It has simple text, beautiful illustrations and is just the right size (8x8) for little hands to hold as they discover one of the Bible's most comforting passages, explained in a way that even tiny tots can understand.

I love how appropriate this page is for little eyes - it conveys the feeling perfectly, but isn't too graphic or scary!

I feel this board book would be most appropriate for babies up to a child who is just learning to read. However, it is so pretty and focused on such a popular Bible passage, I also feel it would make a nice gift book for all ages - I especially think it would make a great shower gift or new-grandma present!

(Especially Gv's Grammy, because it's one of her favorite verses!)

You can get a copy of the book here and begin sharing the comforting words of Psalm 23 with your child!

Psalm 23 is a favorite Bible verse for many people. Is it one of your favorites, too?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
