Author Glenys Nellist uses innovative storytelling and open-ended questions to reach children in this storybook Bible:

If you've encountered many faith-focused, illustrated books for kids, then odds are that you've read one by Glenys Nellist.

Her writing reflects a deep passion for helping children discover joy in the world while pointing them towards God.

I've reviewed many of her other titles, such as board books like
this one and this fun fall selection, unique epistolary books themed toward girls and Easter, this fabulous take on Clement C. Moore's classic Christmas poem, and this beautiful picture book that will have you experiencing all the feels.

This is the first time (that I'm aware of) that she's turned her talents towards creating a storybook Bible and these 30 stories are based on a simple but brilliant idea: the best way to get the attention of a reader is to inspire wonder, and God is no different.

This inspirational storybook Bible will speak to the hearts of your children by asking thought-provoking questions at the end of each story that you can read and discuss together while considering God's love.

Ever since imagining the world into being, God has placed wonder in the hearts of children. The Bible is full of 'I Wonder' moments for all who open their hearts to experience them and I Wonder: Exploring God's Grand Story helps show little ones how to begin.
